Ryan Britten attains rank of Eagle Scout

Green Brook Boy Scout Troop 129 would like to announce our newest Eagle Scout, Ryan Patrick Britten. Ryan has worked hard to earn his Eagle Rank, while taking on the challenges of multiple school programs such as playing the trombone in Watchung Hills Regional High School Marching Band and Jazz Band and running on the track team while maintaining the Honor Roll. Ryan is planning on attending NJIT this fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with the tentative plan of a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering. His leadership skills helped him plan and successfully complete his Eagle Project which was installing a display box at IEF school in Green Brook. The display box contains documentation and memorabilia of Green Brook’s school dating back to 1938. The original cupola from the old school is in a courtyard at the new school and the display now explains for generations to come the history of their school.  All of Green Brook would like to congratulate Ryan on this highest achievement in Boy Scouting of America.
