Summit Annual Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Summit’s 74th Annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Soldiers Memorial Field, located at 5 Myrtle Ave. in Summit. The community celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, and a food truck festival.

The day will begin with a flag raising ceremony at noon, followed by a decorated bicycle parade for children at 12:15PM. Entertainment includes rock music concerts with Crisis at 1:30PM and the Cameos at 4:30PM, and an all-ages hot dog eating contest at 4PM.

The walking track, playground, tennis courts, and lower fields at Memorial Field will close at 12PM to prepare for the fireworks display. Roads adjacent to the field will close to vehicle traffic at 6PM.

Evening festivities begin at 6PM and include rides, entertainment, and a food truck festival. There will be a bubble show for children at 6:15PM, followed by Daddy Pop in concert at 7:30PM. The night will close with a grand fireworks display, beginning at 9:15PM.
