Senior Clap Out
Rahway Public Schools
Rahway High School seniors from the Class of 2023 returned to their elementary school, Franklin Elementary School, on Thursday, June 15. The students walked the halls and were greeted by a cheering student body.
The seniors were all smiles as they reminisced about their time at Franklin School. They talked about their favorite teachers, their favorite memories, and the friends they made. “It was so nice to come back to Franklin School,” said one senior. “It brought back so many good memories.”
The Franklin students were excited to see the seniors in their caps and gowns. They cheered and clapped as the seniors walked by. “It was inspiring to see the seniors,” said one 6th-grade student. “They look so grown up and accomplished.” The visit was a great opportunity for the seniors to reconnect with their roots and for the Franklin students to see what the future holds. “It was a great day,” said acting Principal, Dr. Kevin Robinson. “It was a reminder of how important it is to give back to our community.”
