On January 2, 2018 Officer Lewis was sworn in as Sergeant in the Borough of Garwood Police Department. Sgt. Lewis has been a member of the department for seven years where, in addition to patrol, he serves as the lead training officer as well as a firearms instructor. Prior to his service to the people of Garwood Sgt. Lewis served honorably in the United States Marine Corps where he also achieved the rank of Sergeant. His Leadership, experience, and dedication are a true asset to the department and the residents of Garwood.
