The mission of Rahway Food for Friends is to feed hungry people via food distribution programs on a monthly and emergency basis. Operating a weekly soup kitchen, to feed the hungry, homeless, and needy families and to provide educational information on nutrition and social services, public assistance, etc. through literature and referrals.
Food for Friends distributes food throughout the city of Rahway, Union County & Surrounding Areas.
Food banks rely heavily on monetary and food donations from the community and local businesses. Extra need has arisen due to the Coronavirus Crisis.
