Madison Rotary Breakfast Speakers for August

On August 11th, local Madison Bee Keeper, Blair Conley.After a career in global business development with Cisco Systems and AT&T, Blair retired and now works part time for the Best Bees Co. as a Beekeeper. He will discuss how beekeeping became a second career in his retirement, and his current work as a part-time beekeeper.

On August 18th, Mr. Ray Freaney will discuss the recent formation of a new “E-Club” within Rotary International focused on Mental Health Issues. Mr. Freaney is an active Rotarian and a Past District Governor of Rotary District 7475.

On August 25th, Mr. Jim Foster will provide an overview of the respective roles and activities of different land use boards under New Jersey’s Municipal Land Use Law. Mr. Foster is an attorney, a Rotarian, and a member of the Madison Zoning Board of Adjustment.

The Rotary Club of Madison meets each Thursday morning at the Madison YMCA, 111 Kings Road, Madison, from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. No fee for first-time guests. Morning meetings are also accessible by Zoom.

Madison Rotary members actively engage to eradicate food insecurity in our community, to empower youth and to partner with other local organizations to enrich the Madison community for all. The Rotary Club of Madison will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2023.
