Jennie Silecchia of Chatham Honored at North Jersey Pink Tie Party

Jennie Silecchia of Chatham was honored at the Susan G. Komen North Jersey’s 2018 Pink Tie Party fundraiser, held March 16, 2018 at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. She was paid tribute for 15 years of exceptional commitment to the organization’s mission.
Individual honorees are chosen for their exceptional volunteerism and enduring commitment to the mission of the Komen North Jersey organization. For 15 years, Jennie Silecchia has been a vital and devoted member of the “family,” volunteering several days a week as an office assistant, working on almost every signature fundraising event, in addition to day-to-day activities.
She has the distinction of being one of the most recognized volunteers in the Affiliate’s history. During her tenure, she has received the Ruth Siksnius Volunteer Angel of the Year Award, which was Komen New Jersey’s most prestigious award; the Komen North Jersey Hope Award, and the Promise of One Award.
