Blue and Gold Club Donates Valentine’s Day Pillows

The Blue and Gold Club at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway has been busy making homemade heart-shaped pillows. Each student made about 3-4 pillows for a total of 55. The pillows were delivered to the Center for Hope Hospice in preparation for Valentine’s Day.
The Blue and Gold Club is a school-based club. Students volunteer their time throughout the year to help with different community service activities. They continually do a great job and work diligently to make a difference in their community. The club is overseen by the school nurse, Mrs. Barbara Maher. Keep up the great work.
