Watchung Library patron Kaelin Churchill poses with the selection of books and DVDS she chose from the Friends of the Watchung Library Sidewalk on May 12, 2018. Kaelin confided that two of the books and one movie were going to go into a Mother’s Day Basket for her mother Diana.
Kaelin is so enthusiastic about the Watchung Library that she argued with the sale organizer about the price of a cookbook. Kaelin wanted to pay more than the price asked. Kaelin won the argument!
Friends of the Watchung Library earmarked all proceeds from the day’s sales, both from the Sidewalk Sale and from their bookstore, Second Story Books, to the efforts to keep a library in Watchung.
