Union Public Library Celebrates April

Fighting Fraud- Protect Yourself!

Scams, imposter frauds, and other criminal scams are more active than ever – and are preying on potential victims in New Jersey through phone calls, emails, and other means. We’ll show you what to do about them. Presented by the Office of the Attorney General, State of NJ.

Poetry Reading and After Party Open Mic

Join poets from Kean University and Union County College as they share their best work. After they read their poems, we’ll have an open mic when it will be your turn to recite your poem. Please keep to one short poem.

Meditation

Join Bindu Bhatt for a virtual meditation session. No experience necessary. Bindu has practiced meditation for over 30 years and would like to share her insight with you. 

Beginners Flow Yoga 

Thursdays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 at 6:00 p.m.

This class will lead you through the foundations of yoga postures, body awareness and alignment, relaxation of the mind, and a connection with the breath. You will learn how to improve muscle strength, promote flexibility, and build your yoga program specifically for your mind and body.
