Ukrainian Flag will Fly for Thirty Days

Borough of Madison

On Monday, March 7, three Ukrainian international students from Drew University – Pavlo Goloyadov C’23, Daria Yashnyk C’24 and Oleksii Vilchynskyi INTO Pathway – joined Mayor Robert H. Conley to raise a Ukrainian flag in Madison. Also present were Council President Robert Landrigan, Councilmembers John Hoover and Eric Range, and Kellie Doucette – Representative from Congresswoman Sherrill’s office. The flag will fly outside Hartley Dodge Memorial for the next thirty days as a sign of the Rose Cities support for the people of Ukraine as the unproved attack on their country continues.
