The National Dance Foundation and iDance Ministry will host their 6th Annual Celebration of Dance Event to promote National Dance Week. Two SPF High School students, 10th grader Ananda, and 12th grader Valdon, and one SPF Alumus, Aliyah, will be participating this year in the National Dance Week celebration.

National Dance Foundation Ambassador María Daniel invites everyone to attend the first ever “Virtual” Celebration of Dance event. This free event is an opportunity to acknowledge our commitment to the local dance community while highlighting the benefits of dance. The event will take place Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and will be streamed on YouTube (iDance Ministry, Inc. Channel) due to COVID-19.

The event includes a variety of dance styles such as West Coast Swing Dance, Lyrical Jazz, Hip Hop, Stepping, Acro Dance, Broadway Jazz, Clogging, Breaking, Liturgical Dance, Tap, Bollywood, Graham-based dance and more.

This year will feature three local SPF High School students performing a Hip Hop Dance. The program will also include national and international dance companies such as the Syncopated Ladies from Los Angeles, CA and Shereen Ladha, a Canadian Professional Bollywood Dancer.
