Six ALJ Cheerleaders Awarded Scholarships

Arthur L. Johnson High School is the first school in the history of the New Jersey Cheerleading & Dance Coaches Association (NJCDCA) to have six cheerleaders from the same school awarded scholarships.

Applicants are assessed on their academic achievement, leadership, community service, and athletic excellence in cheerleading. After two years of winning seasons, State Championship titles, and various other accolades, six of Arthur L. Johnson’s varsity seniors became recipients of the 2018 NJCDCA Scholarships. The cheerleaders awarded were Chloe Hessler, Adriana Palmucci, Athena Petronella, Marissa Petronella, Amanda Pratt, and Samantha Tavares.

These six exceptional cheerleaders were honored on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at an awards ceremony and brunch in Princeton along with New Jersey’s other top cheerleaders and dancers.
