Job & Volunteer Fair for Persons with Disabilities
Attend Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Job and Volunteer Fair for Persons with Disabilities on Thursday, April 7 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Bridgewater branch, located at 1 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater. This event is specifically targeted to teens and adults (Age 16+) with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
“Job fairs introduce talented job seekers to hiring managers in a convenient, neutral venue,” said Nan Peterson, branch manager. “During a brief three-hour time span, candidates learn directly what industry-specific skills employers prioritize. Job seekers also have an opportunity to hone their interviewing skills while uncovering what positions are available, as well as the typical pay for these positions.”
