Rahway Hosts Ready Set Glow 5K Race

Rahway once again will host Ready Set Glow; an illuminating and glow in the dark 5K race on Thursday May 24, 2018. More than 1000 runners from eight different states and over 100 different cities have participated in this race!
Runners and walkers of all speeds are encouraged to decorate themselves in light-up costumes and participate in this annual run starting at 8:45 p.m. in front of City Hall.
Participants will receive a T-shirt, finisher’s medal, and more.
Residents along the race route are encouraged to decorate their home and cheer on participants with the most enthusiastic, decorated residence winning a prize. Prizes for best costume adult, youth, and group will also be awarded before the race!
Youth organizations participating as a group will have their group photo featured on TV Channel 34.

Pre-Race Glitter Bug Party: 6:30 p.m. City Hall Plaza Stage
Costume Contest: 8 p.m. City Hall Plaza Stage
Race Start: 8:45 p.m.
