Pop-Up Party Over
The City of Rahway is a welcoming place for visitors, but our utmost priority is the safety of our community, in both public places and on private property.
“Pop-Up Parties” are events that are organized on social media and can result in hundreds to thousands of teenageers and adults suddenly exiting trains and buses, flooding the streets, venues, and commercial districts with very little warning.
These parties typically results in multiple arrests and thousands of taxpayer dollars expended to cover the criminal damage and police overtime.
