Operation Slumber on USS Intrepid
Another special event in the books for Cub Scout Pack 182 of Warren Township. Last month, the scouts were able to participate in Operation Slumber on USS Intrepid located in Manhattan, NY. The scouts had a private tour and exclusive viewing of flight deck, bridge, submarine, and space exposition! The event educated the Scouts on purpose of carrier, different military aircraft, the carriers living conditions, and an overview of a submarine. It was a late night of touring and fun followed by sleeping in the bridge of the vessel overnight.
