North Plainfield Business Association Happenings

By Andrew Goldberg

The North Plainfield Business Association was resurrected in March 2016. After a few years of being dormant it was brought back to life by Bruce Heyman, owner of Fabricland, and Pete Eddy, owner of Eddy’s Kitchen. The mission statement of the NPBA is to promote the economic, professional, and civic welfare for business in and around North Plainfield.
Over the last couple months guest speakers included Mayor Michael Giordano (February), Congressman Leonard Lance (March), North Plainfield Detective Domizi (April).
The Business Association holds meetings at 7 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month at establishments in town. The format of the meetings features a welcome reception (with open networking), followed by company introductions, township and association business, the sponsor’s presentation, and guest speakers.
