New Providence Memorial Day Parade

The New Providence Memorial Day Parade was held on Monday, May 30, 2022. New Providence remembered the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in this country’s armed forces. After the parade, American Legion Post #433, invited everyone for hot dogs and light refreshments.

In attendance was Michael Boll, President of New Jersey Veterans Network (NJVN) and the team’s executive board member, Sara Abraham. They were presented a proclamation and a flag that was flown over the state capital from the NJ Legislative 21st District. The NJVN was honored for all their amazing work during the height of the Covid Pandemic. They provided over 5,000 meals and thousands of pieces of life saving PPE equipment to National Guardsmen and disabled veterans.
