Class of 2023 valedictorian and salutatorian
Congratulations to Karen Wu and James Owen Weller who have been named the Class of 2023 Valedictorian and Salutatorian!
Karen is headed to Princeton University and plans to pursue a major in Physics. As she looks back on her times at MHS, one of her fondest memories comes from this past swim season when the Girls Swim team won the State Section Title for the first time in school history.
Owen is attending Bowdoin College where he will be a member of the swim team and plans on majoring in Biochemistry on the Pre-Med track. His favorite MHS memory also comes from this past swimming season. Between being named captain, beating Morristown for the first time in 15+ years, beating Bernards by 2 points to advance to the state semifinal, and watching the girls team win sectionals, it was a pretty awesome season.
