Low Impact Exercise Classes
The Linden Public Library is pleased to announce the continuation of the popular low impact exercise classes on Wednesday and Friday mornings, beginning March 1st and running through April 28th. All classes begin at 10 a.m. Registration is not required. These classes are designed for people with some mobility issues. Each class is led by Paulette Rasul, an experienced and certified fitness instructor.
On Wednesday mornings, Project Healthy Bones classes are held. These classes are designed for osteoporosis prevention and use light weights to help build stronger bones and endurance. These classes are sponsored through a generous donation from Aristacare at Parkside in Linden. On Friday mornings, Chair Yoga classes are scheduled. Chair yoga has been shown to improve flexibility with use of a chair. Funding for these Friday classes has been provided by the Friends of the Linden Public Library.
