Long Hill Township Library Summer Reading Program

This summer children were awarded one raffle ticket for every 140 minutes that they read. Prizes for the Long Hill Township Library program were raffled off at the conclusion of the program.

For the Teen Summer Reading Program, teens submitted a raffle ticket for each book they read during the program.

The Summer of Learning Program ended Friday August 18, 2018. The total reading times for all of the participants has yet to be tallied. However; the combined participation of both the Children’s and Teen Summer Reading Programs was 354 students.

(above) Chloe Apuzzo of Gillette won the teen grand prize, a 13” MacBook Pro with 2.3GHz dual-core i5 processor, 8GB memory, and 256 GB storage.

(above) Jordan Hotra, age 9 of Millington, won the 9.7” iPad with 256 GB storage and an Apple Pencil. Jordan read a total of 3120 minutes for the program.

(above) Mackenzie, age 7 of Millington, won the giant stuffed dragon. Mackenzie has named the dragon Marco. She read 2940 minutes for the program.

(above) Asher, age 8 of Stirling, won the popular mystery box prize which was a giant alien with a surf board. He read 2520 minutes for the program.
