Three 14-year-old Green Brook residents, Maddie Goret, Mya Uku, and Zack Kusch, recently closed out a strong short course swim season. All three swim for Streamline Aquatics Club (STAC), and are coached by Brian Greene, who is a resident of Green Brook as well.

Maddie Goret and Mya Uku joined STAC in 2015, while Zack Kusch has been swimming for STAC since 2016. Maddie, Mya, and Zack are friends, teammates, and classmates at WHRHS. Throughout their years swimming for STAC, the three have all earned great individual successes.

Recently the three shined at the 2022 Eastern Zone Short Course Age Group Championships in Webster, NY, held March 30th through April 2nd. This three-day meet featured some of the fastest age group swimmers in the Eastern Zone which includes USA Swimming clubs from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Maine, Virginia, Washington DC, and more.

These Green Brook swimmers are making incredible waves, and will continue to compete for STAC throughout the spring and summer in the 2022 long course season.
