4th Annual Fabulous 50’s Night with the Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus Fabulous 50’s committee is planning the fourth annual event to be held on June 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Warren Township Municipal Grounds. This year it will take place in the Pavilion area (near the tennis courts).Rain date will be June 27.
The K of C Council 11409 from Our Lady of the Mount Parish organizes this free celebration each year, reaching out to township residents, thanking all for continuing to make Warren a great place to live.
The committee will be signing up about 20 K of C members who will help to make the evening a success. Volunteers will set up and decorate the area, serve coffee, ice tea, and assorted cakes. Volunteers will also be needed to bake and provide the light refreshments. Italian ice and pizza are always a hit and like all refreshments will be complimentary.
The Keynotes, Sal and Tony, will provide the music of the 50’s era along some 60’s and 70’s tunes.
The night will rock Warren back to the 50’s, an era known for its classic cars, jukeboxes, soda shops, drive in movies, and good old rock and roll music.
Residents are encouraged to join their friends and neighbors, listen and dance to the music, and enjoy the free refreshments, compliments of the K of C. Pleasebring a lawn chair.
