Interactive stories, songs and activities for ages 2 – 3 years old

Winter Craft & Author Visit
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm on December 2.
Create a unique craft to take home and display for ages: 4 – 9. Following the craft, children will listen to the story Zoey Wonders Why  which will be read by children’s author Nadia Khan. Zoey Wonders Why is the recipient of the prestigious Mom’s Choice Award.

Christmas Grab N’ Go Craft
December 12
Visit the library to pick up a craft kit to take home for ages: 4 – 9.
This craft kit is available while supplies last.

December Special Events

Kenilworth residents may begin to register one week prior to each special event. Out of town residents may begin to register two days prior to each event, space permitting. To register for individual special events, call the library at 908-276-2451.

Mad Science Workshop: Super Structures
Thursday, December 1 at 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.

Ages: 4 – 12.  Interactive workshop exploring a unique science theme.

This program has been funded by The Ralph Errington Foundation.

Cartooning With Doug Baron on Saturday, December 3 at 12:30 pm – 1:30pm for ages 8 – adult.  Participants will learn how to draw Christmas and winter theme characters during this event.

This program has been funded by donations made in memory of Ruth Small.

Yoga Story Time
Wednesday, December 7 at 10:30 am – 11:00 am.

This program will be presented by Certified Yoga Instructor Pamela Nixon.

Ages: 2 – 5 years old with a caregiver.  Please bring along a yoga mat or towel.

Foot tapping knee slapping music for all ages.

ADULT PROGRAMS

 “Paper Pals.”
Join us on Tuesday, December 6 from  2:00pm – 4:00 pm for our card making group. You don’t need any paper crafting experience to join the fun. This is a FREE program for adults.

“Yarnies”

During the month of December will meet on Thursday, December 1 & 8 at 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and Thursday, Dec. 15 at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
