Johnson Cheerleaders Perform for Super Bowl

The Arthur L. Johnson High School Varsity Cheerleaders from Clark were recently selected to become the welcoming committee for the Super Bowl media and fans at Newark Airport. Maggi Villane, the manager of Customer Care Programs and Partner Relations, was kind enough to be a guide for the Johnson Cheerleaders as they moved to multiple performance locations throughout the airport. The Johnson Varsity Cheerleaders performed in Terminal A between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. on Monday, January 27th. The cheerleaders, accompanied by their coaches, Lindsey Barrett, Suzanne Hamilton, and Cristina Faro, welcomed the Super Bowl media and fans with spirited Super Bowl cheers, chants, gymnastics, and stunts. Terminal A at Newark Airport was decorated with balloons, Super Bowl signs, and a carpet resembling a football turf. Fans and travelers took time out of their busy schedules to gather around the cheerleaders and to enjoy some Super Bowl spirit!
