Garwood Mustangs Spirit Night Basketball Game
The Lincoln School in Garwood celebrated their 8th grade basketball players during the annual Spirit Night Basketball Game held recently. The boys team secured a championship banner by finishing with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses. The girls basketball team also had a great season finishing with a record of 9 wins and 4 losses.
The 8th graders honored were Vanessa Hechevarria, Yvett Rodriguez, Ella Myers, Gabriella Stoffer, Madison Oliveria, Carley Ridente, Evenesse Rosado, Valerie Orozco, Courtney Kilmer, Olivia Blanche, Caitlyn Marcazo, Julianna Ferraz, Lia Simitz, Analisse Ortiz, Gio Hernandez, Ryan Osnato, Stas Walentek, Matthew Ruggiero, Damian Garrido, Evan Nocera, CJ Lowry, Arturo Palacio, Chris Anastasio, Russell Tortorici, Noah Gibson, & Jack Pellino.
The teams are coached by Matt Burke, Aaren Beaty, Laura Knutson, & Lia DiPiazza. The student assistants were John Sullivan and Maria Mormile. KC Bree was the team statistician.
