Garwood Mustangs Save Over 42,000 Wrappers
The collection of Little Bites wrappers has taken place at Lincoln School for the past eight years. During this time, Garwood Mustangs have saved over 42,000 wrappers from landfills. Terracycle continues to provide a monetary “reward” for the wrappers that are bundled and sent to the company several times a year. Pictured are members of the Student Council who counted the wrappers (nearly 900!) during the last collection period. Coordinator of the program is fifth grade teacher Carol DelConte.
