Garwood Girl Scouts Create Autumn Curb Appeal

Girl Scouts is about making new friends and giving back to our community. And that’s just what three Garwood Girl Scouts Troops did on Sunday, October 10, 2021.

Second year Brownie Troop 41290 led by Kimberly Salmon, Danielle Harras and Tori Leonard first year Brownie Troop 41108 led by Vanessa Schubring, Erika Zurzolo and Mary Alverson and the new Daisy Troop 41005 led by Vanessa Schubring, Kate Nicastro, Jessica Heyder and Kimberly Salmon came together to decorate for fall.

The three Troops added some Autumn curb appeal to Borough Hall and JFK Plaza by putting up corns stalks, pumpkins, mums and hay bales. The girls weathered the rain and worked together writing their names on the pumpkins and decorating some with stickers.

Thank you to the Garwood Green Team for donating $100 towards this event. We look forward to continuing to give back to our community and sharing in all of the fun events together this upcoming Girl Scout year.
