Franklin Elementary School- “Only You Can Prevent Wildfires”
Franklin School Third-Grader, Jayden Ekweonu, was presented a Certificate of Achievement Award from Smokey the Bear and Section Fire Warden A7, George Efinger. Jayden and his classmates participated in Smokey the Bear’s 75th anniversary Fire Prevention Calendar Contest. His drawing was chosen to be featured as the month of October in their 2019 calendar. Smokey the Bear brought enough calendars for all of Franklin School’s Third-Grade classes, as well as fire prevention activities and prizes! We are very proud of Jayden!
