Doctors Open Office To Meet Needs In Surgery And Primary Care

Elizabeth, New Jersey Drs. Sergio Baerga and Vasyl Pidkaminetskiy have joined the medical staff of Trinitas Regional Medical Center and are among the physicians who practice as part of the Trinitas Physicians Practice in Rahway. Dr. Baerga, who is fluent in Spanish and English, is board certified in general surgery while Dr. Vasyl Pidkaminetskiy is board certified in family practice and internal medicine with fluency in Ukranian, Russian, Polish, and English.
Dr. Baerga received his medical degree at Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Trinitas, he was associated with Montefiore Medical Center Department of Surgery/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where he performed acute care surgery and was responsible for medical resident training and education. He was a general surgeon at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and an attending physician at the New York Methodist Emergency Department. Dr. Pidkaminetskiy completed his medical training Ivano-Frankivisc Regional Hospital in Ukraine where he later was an Assistant  Professor in Anesthesiology-Critical Care. He served his medical residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York. While associated with Crystal Run Health Care in Upstate New York, he provided internal medicine services in Goshen and Warwick. Prior to joining Trinitas, Dr. Pidkaminetskiy practiced internal medicine in Clifton, Wallington and Passaic, New Jersey, and was affiliated with St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic and St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson.
