Culture Crawl Film Series: “Risque Bits”

Submitted by Amy Garcia Phillips

The Rahway Arts and Business Partnership will continue its new Culture Crawl Film Series with a second pop-up screening, “Risque Bits,” scheduled for Thursday, February 7, 2019  from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Atelier Rosal (74 E. Cherry St.) in downtown Rahway.

Just in time to heat up Valentine’s Day, the “Risque Bits” screening will feature some slightly spicy tidbits from the Rahway-based organization CineKink – also known as as “the kinky film festival” – whose mission is to celebrate and expand the conversation around a wide range of sexuality. The program will include several award-winning highlights from the festival’s current season, along with a few favorites selected by CineKink co-founder and curator, Lisa Vandever.

A Q&A discussion with attending filmmakers will follow the screening. A spread of light nibbles and refreshments will be included in the admission, and available throughout the event.

Tickets are $16 when purchased in advance and $20 at the door. Admission is limited to those 21 years and older.
