Artists will be “painting the town” on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. at the annual Community Paint Out.
The event brings area artists of all ages to Cranford to celebrate the unique and the beautiful about our town. The finished pieces will be on display and available for purchase at Hanson Park from 4 – 5 p.m. that afternoon. This is the fourth year the Paint Out has been sponsored by The Artist Framer in Cranford.
Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to join the fun and can register online at theartistframer.com.
For young artists (age 16 and under) registration is free, and for Community Artists (17 and over) registration is $10. Artists can also register the day of the event starting at 11 a.m. at The Artist Framer, 17 North Ave. East, Cranford.
The first 50 Community Artists to register online will get a special Paint Out Survival Bag. Pieces by the Community Artists will be judged and prizes will be awarded at Hanson Park.
Each Young Artist will receive a certificate of participation and prize.
The Cranford Historic Preservation Advisory Board will provide a list of sites to explore and portray.
