Community is invited to attend a wet-down at Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company on June 9

Submitted by Ryan Valentino, Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company

The Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company has been serving the residents of Warren Township since 1912. We are the longest serving fire company in Warren Township. We are made up of approximately 30 volunteers who are passionate and dedicated to the emergency services and serving our wonderful town. Our fire company answers over 500 emergency calls a year, 24/7/365.
I am excited to announce that on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. we will be hosting a large, dedication and wetdown for our brand new ladder truck, Ladder 61. The event is rain or shine and will be held at Mt. Bethel Volunteer Fire Company, 128 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren, NJ.
The fire service is steeped in tradition and part of that tradition is to host a large public event to invite our community and neighbors to our firehouse to help dedicate and celebrate our new arrival. We will have free food, drinks, music, family activities and an a ton of water being sprayed by our friends from neighboring fire companies from across our area. Visiting fire departments will come to “christen” our new truck with their water as a way of wishing it good luck and gracing it with the safety and protection that their trucks provide them while answering alarms.
We will distribute detailed information about parking and activities on the event page daily visit: ladder61.com
