Clark/Rahway VFW Benefit Concert
The Clark/Rahway VFW, John L. Ruddy Post 7363, has scheduled a fundraiser for building repairs. Closed since March 2020 due to Covid, the Post building needs a roof, ceiling work, air conditioning replacement and inside renovations.
A Barry Manilow / Neil Diamond Tribute Concert starring Conner Lorre, a Las Vegas show headliner, will be held at the Union County Performing Arts Center, UCPAC, in Rahway on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40-$45 and can be bought at the UCPAC, 601 Main St, Rahway. The VFW is a non-profit military organization for Veterans of Foreign Wars. Many of these Veterans are World War II. Korea, Viet Nam or Gulf War service men and women. The VFW is a service group that helps Veterans and their families apply for and maintain their benefits. Members of Post 7363 are from Rahway, Clark, and neighboring communities. Our hope is to keep Post #7363 as a viable location in the community for Veterans to gather, get help, and share their common experiences.
