CCS and Summit Elks join forces for babies in need

On March 27, the Christ Child Society of Summit (CCS) joined forces with members of the Summit Elks Club to tie the fringe ends on fleece baby blankets. Sixty-five volunteers assembled and finished 250 blankets. The Elks Club presented CCS with a $4,000 grant from the Elks National Foundation. Elk members also generously gifted baby clothing, towels, baby shampoo, lotion, baby wipes, and other infant necessities.

CCS is a group of dedicated volunteers from all faiths and backgrounds that are joined with the purpose to help under-resourced children and their families.
