Cassie Conforti, a 6th grade student at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School, has been selected to represent the USA Softball All American Northeast Region 1 – Team Freedom this coming August at the Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The USA Softball All American Games is a prestigious tournament that provides national exposure to elite athletes in the 12u division. Designation to a USA Softball All American team is the highest honor a softball player can receive. Only 360 girls nationwide will have the opportunity to wear the USA Softball jersey at this event.

Cassie’s hard work, dedication and commitment has also resulted in her being invited to represent the Northeast Region for the USSSA All American Program this summer at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida.

Cassie started her softball career with the Clark Girls Softball League and is now playing for the NJ Batbusters 12u Torres team. The support and training she has received from her NJ Batbusters coaches, James Torres, Jennifer Haas, Jess Kennick and Rich Sosa, have been nothing short of amazing. They inspire her to push herself, work hard and strive to overcome each challenge that comes her way.

A special mention to Coach Colleen Spadora, a great mentor and role model, who has been instrumental in the continued development, nurturing and growth of Cassie’s pitching career.
