Police Officer Promotions
The Berkeley Heights Police Department promoted three officers in February. William Ives was promoted to the rank of Captain, Frank Mea Jr. was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and Brian Nigro was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Berkeley Heights PBA Local 144 noted on their Facebook page “PBA 144 is proud to announce the 3 promotions, all past Presidents of 144. Captain Bill Ives, Lt. Frank Mea, and DSgt. Brian Nigro packed the house with family, friends, and Local 144 members, past and present. We celebrate their success, and look forward to their leadership.”
