The Kenilworth Public Library has announced the arrival of the new library director, Lorraine Ruiz on May 14, 2018. Ruiz received her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute. She previously worked for The New York Public Library in various positions ranging from a Page to Associate Director for the Staten Island Branch Libraries. Ruiz is looking forward to meeting and fostering partnerships with the community.
The library staff is delighted with the selection of Lorraine Ruiz, and looking forward to working with their new director.
Members of the community are welcome to stop by The Kenilworth Public Library, located at 548 Boulevard, to welcome the new director to the community.
