Warren Township Schools
In recognition of National Custodian Day, the district would like to acknowledge and thank the incredible team of custodial and maintenance staff in the Warren Township Schools.
The department includes 28 professional employees led by Director of Operations Michael Pate, including Angelo L. Tomaso School: Spencer Adriaanse – Head Custodian, Elzbieta Dumala; District Office: Wayne Briner; Mt. Horeb School: Luis Marciscano – Head Custodian, Thomas Ronkowitz, Josue Villatoro-Reyes; Woodland School: Joseph Sutherland – Head Custodian, Pavel Dobarkin, Jason Sandt; Warren Middle School: Philip Shimko – Head Custodian, Tony Alberto, Priscilla Bledsoe, Jonathan Carrillo, Maria Rodriguez, Maria Serrano; Central School: David Kuhlken – Head Custodian, Maria Alvarado, Benedicto Frech, Annette Vecchio; Maintenance: Christopher Bacia, Ronald Budis, Raffaele Circelli, Calvin James, Stuart Januszanis, Krystle Kelly, Kevin Potter, Rey Rodriguez, and Donald Strickland.
School custodians are often the eyes and ears of every building. While ensuring that the schools are taken care of to the highest standard, custodians also assist with the lunch program, student pickup/dropoff, visitor management, safety protocols, repairs, cleaning, and much more.
Pate is proud to lead a team of dedicated and hardworking employees. “Our custodians and maintenance staff members work together to keep our students, staff, and visitors safe and healthy. Everyone knows them by name; they are the quiet heroes of our schools!”
