Weekly Programs
Mondays: Let’s Create at 1:00 p.m.
Ages 6 – 12 – Registration required
Time to get crafty! Join us for a different arts & crafts project each week! All materials will be provided.

Mondays: Construction Zone at 3:30 p.m.

Learn, play, and build with us every Monday using Legos, K’Nex, and more!
Mondays 8/6 & 8/20: Read to Waldi at 4:15 p.m.
Ages 5+ – Registration required
Bring along a book or two and practice reading aloud to Waldi, our visiting therapy dog! Program takes place on alternate weeks.
Tuesdays: ESL Rocks! at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Ages 6 – 12 – Registration required
A special program for ESL students who want to practice and maintain their English skills over the summer.
Ages 6 – 8: 5:00 p.m.
Ages 9 – 12: 6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: Babies in the Library at 10:30 a.m.
Birth – 18 months – No registration required
Spend this special time with baby singing songs & rhymes, listening to stories, followed by free play & socialization.
Thursdays: Boredom Busters at 1:00 p.m.
Ages 6 – 12 – Registration required
There’s no room for boredom this summer! Join us for some self-directed projects! All materials will be provided — just bring your imagination.

Jump into reading with UPL! We explore phonics, letter recognition, and numbers all while reading fun stories and making new friends! Over the summer, we’ll also be doing some fun crafts and activities as part of storytime!

Ages 6 – 12 – Registration required
Dig through loads of fossil material to find shark teeth, coral, sea urchin spines, and more! Learn how to identify what you find, then take home your discoveries!
Monday 8/6: Kids in the Kitchen at 6:00 p.m.
Ages 6 – 12 with guardian – Registration required
Prepare a recipe from the cookbook of the month (The Forest Feast for Kids by Erin Gleeson) and bring it to share! Miss Emily will also lead a cooking demo during this program. Copies of the cookbooks are available at the circulation desk or through Hoopla.

Create a beautiful scene of a lighthouse at sunset using the tape resist technique!
