Please review the following tips and requests from the Borough and Fanwood Police Department.
Residents are asked to remove their vehicles from the roadways to assist the DPW in keeping the roads clear. This will help to ensure that all roads are effectively plowed and will allow for the safe passage of emergency vehicles. Residents should also ensure that they do not shovel or snow blow their snow back into the roadway after it has been plowed as this creates a hazardous condition.
We ask that all residents remove any snow and ice from the sidewalk in front of their property and to please check on your elderly neighbors or those with special needs that may require assistance during the storm.
