Veterans Day Ceremony

The Martin Wallberg American Legion Post #3 will be hosting this year’s Veterans Day ceremony, to be held at the World War I Monument located in the center of town (North Ave., & E. Broad St.),  on November 11, at 11 am.

This day and time are especially meaningful to all veteran’s and so we invite all veteran’s as well as the general public to join us in our celebration and remembrances. This year we will once again welcome the Holy Trinity School Choir to shower us in song with their voices, as well as the ever popular Kerry Stubbs with his rousing rendition of “God Bless America”. Bells will also be rung and words and prayers will be spoken by many. So please make plans to join with us on this morning as we say “Thank You” to those who put their lives on the line so that we can continues to enjoy the freedoms of living in this country.

Following this ceremony the Martin Wallberg American Legion Post #3 invites all to a light luncheon at the Post Canteen which is located at 1003 North Avenue West.
