Westfield Memorial Day 2022

The Westfield Memorial Day Parade will return on Monday, May 30th, 2022. A Solemn Memorial Service will begin at 9 a.m. in front of the WWI Monument at intersection of North Ave and East Broad Street. The Parade will immediately follow and will be staged in the East parking lot of Lord and Taylor’s. Parade route will start on North Avenue and turn left on East Broad Street, proceed to Euclid Avenue, where it will turn left, and then move up Euclid and turn left on Park Drive, where the Parade will end.

We welcome any group interested in marching in the Parade. If you are interested you can register on theWestfieldnj.gov website. Type Memorial Day Parade in the search box and it will take you to the Parade registration. If you are participating, plan on arriving in the east parking lot of Lord and Taylor’s by no later than 8:00 a.m. on Memorial Day. After the parade, there will be an after party at the American Legion Hall at 1003 North Avenue. The party will go from Noon – 4 p.m. with two bands, bouncy houses for the kids and free wine, beer andfood. The party is open to all residents of Westfield to come celebrate and thank the veterans for their service while remembering those we lost.
