Westfield Taste of Greece at NJ Greek Fest ’19

Opa! It’s time to celebrate a Taste of Greece at NJ Greek Fest, May 31-June 2

After a long winter, what could be more refreshing than a quick trip to sample the sights, sounds and tantalizing flavors of Greece? It’s all possible with a visit to Holy Trinity Greek Fest 2019, being held May 31-June 2 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

Whether festival-goers choose to relax under the big tent or order items for takeout, there’s a full menu of delicious fare from which to choose.  Menu includes appetizers such as Greek salad and spanakopita, mouth-watering entrees such as lamb, gyros, souvlaki and moussaka; and to-die for desserts such as crepes, baklava and loukoumades (honey puffs). Adults also can order a beverage from the Taverna or Kafenio.

The sights of Greece will come alive with the talented roster of entertainment acts, which include the Greek Hellenic Dancers from the Youth group and live music from Fantasia. Or why not take a piece of Greece home with you? The marketplace will have a variety of finely crafted wares available, including clothing, jewelry, and Greek delicacies. And for the youngsters and the young-at-heart, there will be a children’s area.  And as with every GreekFest, you can try your luck at the Grand 50/50 Raffle.

Festival hours are Friday, May 31; 5 – 11 p.m.; Saturday, June 1, 12 – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, June 2, 12 – 3 p.m.

Admission to the Greek Fest is $2 (children are free).
