Westfield Spring League Registration Opens December 1 – February 19

Westfield Baseball League has announced its Spring In-Town League registration is open from December 1, 2018 thru February 19, 2019 for Kindergarten through 10th Grade.  Kids of all ages and ability in Westfield, NJ are welcome to Play Ball!

Parents can save $50 by completing Early Bird Registration by Tuesday, February 5, 2-days after the Super Bowl.  In-town leagues are available starting at the Kindergarten level and continue through the 10th grade.

“We want all kids in Westfield to Play Ball,” says league President Noah Ament.  “Baseball is such a great sport, and kids of all abilities and skill levels are welcome.  Our goal is for the kids to have fun, make friends, learn the game, develop their skills and enjoy the competition.”

“Our spring league has the largest participation,” says Ament, “but we also have summer travel teams for 7U (1st grade) through 13U (7th grade) for kids looking for a higher level of competition and experience through summer. Plus, summer in-town leagues, fall Leagues and winter training camps give kids the opportunity to play baseball just about year-round!”

It is very easy to get involved in any or all of the Westfield baseball leagues, by just visiting the Westfield Baseball website at www.WestfieldBaseball.com, and sign up your child to play.  Parents can also volunteer time, and support the league by helping with the parade, working the snack shack or coaching a team.

Spring registration closes February 19, 2019 for all spring leagues and age groups.  Fields will open on April 1st, followed by opening day scheduled for April 8.  And circle your calendar for April 27 – for this year’s League Parade Day, when teams march from Mindowaskin Park to Gumbert Park for fun, festivities, games, food and more!

Westfield Baseball League is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that has served youths in the Westfield community for over 57 years, started in 1962.  For more information, contact league President, Noah Ament, at 925-234-1310 or noahament@gmail.com.
