The Westfield Community Band has been a centerpiece of Westfield’s cultural arts for more than 100 years. Since 1918, the band has been performing on the gazebo in Westfield’s historic Mindowaskin Park, entertaining area residents with a wide variety of live instrumental music.
This year, the band will celebrate its 106th Anniversary Summer Concert Series with four Thursday evening performances on June 21, 28, July 5, and 12, 2018. For many years, we have produced an annual band program, containing information regarding the band’s current membership, performances, history and special features. Programs are distributed free of charge to the many “band fans” attending the band’s weekly concerts during the summer. Over the years, our band program has become an integral part of our performances and is eagerly anticipated by our audience.
