Waves Salon Grand Opening Ceremony

Carissa Bowden and Jamie Gorombey, 20-year veterans of the premier fashion salon of Westfield, have ventured out on their own, creating a salon that will offer the most current hair fashions and modern chemical services in a big city space with small town warmth.

The pair have been close friends throughout their adult lives and are excited about their new professional partnership.

Carissa comes from a background of hair color education as a regional educator for IT&LY Hair Fashion of Milan, Italy as well as the staff artistic educational director at her previous salon.

Jamie has spent her 20-year career following celebrity stylists attending advance workshops nationwide. Together they plan on building a staff of talented professionals that will grow together to create a destination salon here in Cranford.

They are pleased to announce the addition of their first staff stylist and esthetician. Lene Chappell comes to Waves from the world-famous Robert Cromean Salon in San Diego and Brianne Gorombey-Adragna brings her skills and talents in waxing, facials, and make-up.
