Warren Township Police Awards Silver P.B.A. Cards

The Warren Honorary P.B.A. hosted their 44th Annual Venison Dinner on March 24, 2017 at The Forest Lodge, in support of the Warren Police Department. At this dinner, Warren Police Chief, William Keane, awarded residents Foster Cooper, Jerry Amedeo, Carol Amedeo, and Neal Drasin with the “NJ State P.B.A. Silver Life Membership Card”. Upon presenting the cards, Chief Keane said, “I am proud to bestow the highest P.B.A. civilian award of recognition, an Honorary Life Membership in the Local 235 of the New Jersey State P.B.A. These recipients have demonstrated their continued support to the local community in which we serve.”
The Warren Township Honorary PBA is a service organization of 65 volunteer members whose goals include: promoting a closer relationship between the residents and police; supporting and encouraging efficiency, morale, and general welfare for all the members of the police force and their families in times of need; and to cooperate with the Chief of Police and members of the police force so that the public can receive the maximum protection and benefits from the department.
Through fundraisers like their annual Venison Dinner, the Warren HPBA has provided funds to purchase and care for Onyx, Warren’s K-9, bulletproof vests, Honor Guard Uniforms, and Photo ID equipment. Among other projects, they have also been able to give funding to support the Police Unity Tour, D.A.R.E. and the Police Explorers.
