Warren Cub Scout Pack 182 Participates in Annual Fall Camporee in Rockaway, NJ

Submitted by Tricia Patricco

Over the weekend of October 19 -21, 2018 Cub Scout Pack 182 participated in the Patriot’s Path Council’s Fall Camporee at Winnebago Scout Reservation in Rockaway, NJ. 62 Scouts and family members attended and enjoyed a weekend of camping, fun filled activities and feasts. If nothing else, the Pack eats well.

Our scouts and siblings participated in the varied activities offered at the Camporee. Archery, flintlocks building classes, hiking, boulder wall, rock throwing, cub mobiles, batting cages, whittling chip classes, row boating, fishing derby, crafts, rabbit sticks, BB gun shooting and even a Tug-A-War kept everyone busy all day long. We were proud when at the all-camp campfire event brothers Graham Beyus, Lion Scout, and Fintan Beyus, Wolf Scout, both received trophies from the Fishing Derby! Graham for longest fish, Lion rank, and Fintan for most fish, Wolf rank. Back at camp, the kids enjoyed downtime playing football, gathering firewood and learning how to build a campfire, relaxing and enjoying snacks, s’mores and fun. A great time was had by all!
